Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Student Interns

Emily Loveless, RN
(she/her)
Student of Jon Frank
Hi! My name is Emily, and I am a PMHNP student set to graduate in December of 2023. Previously, I worked as an RN for 5 years in the pediatric ICU. During this time, I was given the opportunity to advocate for so many fragile minds experiencing a multitude of mental health issues and crises.
I started my own journey to mental health wellness not too long ago, and I remember how scary and painful the process initially felt. This was especially true, since there was and still is a huge lack of access to care where I was raised and living at the time, in rural Mississippi. Receiving proper treatment for my mental wellbeing has ignited strength, confidence, and perspective in me, all of which are invaluable tools that I intend to continually integrate into my life and future practice.
As a Swiftie, I know now that we do indeed all have crowns, and that the haters need to calm down. I believe every human is dynamic, beautiful, and uniquely important in this world, and as a mental healthcare provider, I hope to facilitate my future patient’s journey to realizing their greatness and polishing and embracing their own crowns.
