​Maria started the practice back in 2020 and continues to build Paperflower into a cornerstone of progressive mental health care in the state of Arizona.

​She has built a social media presence in the mental health community with her podcast and TikTok. But most of the time she just has a headache from wrangling her feisty toddlers.

Delfina is our practice manager. She handles administrative duties, patient care, support team tasks, pharmacy calls, refills, and any patient concerns that are escalated.
​
She is a gem of a human who really cares about other people and will make you feel heard. She has years of case management experience and can help connect you with resources if needed.

She also handles QB & Tova testing, local networking, along with community events.

June is an incredible resource at Paperflower - handling our prior authorizations. This means he's the guy who makes sure your insurance covers your medications. He also supervises our support team, answers your calls, calls your pharmacy... basically all the things.

Thea is our community liaison. She manages our referral network, ensuring that we have up-to-date information on practices we work with across Arizona. She is our point of contact if you'd like to work with our clinic. She also handles medical records.
Credentialing & Support Specialist

Michelle works as our credentialing specialist -- this means she maintains all current information and negotiations with insurance companies to ensure that we stay paneled. She also is cross-trained and works in our support team and alongside our billing team. She is a gentle presence so be nice to her if you get her on the phone!

Ken works as an expert in accounts receivable, billing reports, claim submission and denials. He is a key fighter against insurance companies to make sure we try to get your healthcare covered, and also to make sure we don't go bankrupt because they underpay us.

Jed works as an expert in coding, billing, claim submission and denials. He will be receiving your calls and emails in regard to any concerns with your insurance, denials, etc.

Donna handles patient collections, payment plans, sliding scales and helps manage any concerns with your credit cards or insurance. She works on insurance verification to make sure we aren't getting denied because we weren't covered in the first place.

Kevin is the guardian angel of our phones, our VOBs, and honestly our sanity. He runs insurance verifications, handles collections with the gentlest, yet firmest voice known to mankind, and makes sure patient statements actually get where they need to go. We don’t know how he does it, but we’re convinced he has superpowers.
